I met Mr. John Philips sometime in 2002. He went here in Virac, Catanduanes, Philippines as a tourist then. I used to get touch with him when he joined our Martial Arts Training here in our place. He was very eager to practice. He showed enthusiasm and hardwork during our training regimen which is Aikido. We came to a time when we talk about each other’s culture, our characters and almost any other regarding our citizenship. Although John is a true blooded American, he showed in his deeds his love for Filipino people. He was very close to Filipino’s heart.
After a few months that year, he went back to his country. I initially thought that he would eventually forget this small town of Virac upon leaving the Philippines. But I was wrong; he took the initiative to contact me here again by sending me an air-mail letter. We continued to chat with each other through e-mails. He was very diligent to reply to my e-mails. He has only one purpose: to help us here to have extra source of living. He made every way to give us here some form of financial assistance. His ideas were very broad. He is a very helpful man. Although we live in different parts of the world, his thoughtfulness has proved me that he is indeed a good man. John has helped me cope up with my daily living here. To sum up, I can say that John Philips is an honest, helpful and sincere man. He is one of a kind.

I totally agree with you Orion. I personally know Mr.John Phillips and he must have waited a while for me to write an article here, it wasn't that interesting to me before for a lot of reasons. First of all, I'm not a good writer but hey! here I am. One thing that draws me here is the ability to express my feelings and ideas and see if I have the writing skills ( I guess I don't have it, so people- please bear with me , I need your help to improve it ). You guys out there are really good and I'm jealous coz I don't have skills like yours . KUDOS to all of you, specially to John for bringing us Filipinos this site. Writing here is easy. All one need is to think of an interesting topic, brainstorm, make an outline, write a draft, revise, revise and revise until you get a piece that is close to perfection or even being perfect itself then publish it here. Whenever you get to write your own article, all you would need is to post it on the site and you would automatically have your own page for that certain article. The main points to remember to be successful in this site are: (All of these elements are intertwined)

(c) be patient. .
Writing good articles is, nonetheless, difficult overall. One needs to choose a topic that would be appealing to many. Market your webpage. If you already have a good article, then marketing your webpage would be very easy since you are already confident about it. Just tell as many person as you can and it would not be difficult.
